The Bronx, New York, is a municipality of New York State. It is known for its Yankee Stadium, home of the New York Yankees Major League Baseball team. Dating back to 1899, this is the largest municipality in the United States, containing more than eight million residents. Nearby, the well-developed Bronx Zoo houses a variety of exotic animals.
